Aeroflot (official name is OJSC "Aeroflot — Russian Airlines") is the largest airline of the Russian Federation with its representative office in Minsk. Actually this company operates domestic and international passenger services to 97 cities in 48 countries, mainly from Sheremetyevo International Airport, Moscow, using a fleet of 94 aircraft. Moreover Aeroflot is one of the oldest airlines in the world, tracing its history back to 1923. But, do not worry, nowadays their airplanes are not that old. If you choose this company you will fly to Moscow on Airbus А320 (Aeroflot replaced the old TU-134 with them). By the way for that reason they had to suspend air transportations in 2005 for a while. But these days the service is resumed. Since 27th of March 2011 Company operates two everyday flights Moscow-Minsk-Moscow. airBaltic (official name is AIR BALTIC CORPORATION) is a Latvian stock company that was established in 1995 with the signing of a joint venture between Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and the Latvian state. The airBaltic fleet currently consists of 34 aircraft - 2 Boeing 757-200, 6 Boeing 737-500s, 8 Boeing 737-300, 10 Fokker-50s and 8 Bombardier Q400 NextGen.
It is considered to be a low-cost carrier. This may explain certain inconvenience you will encounter using this airline. The thing is they do not operate direct flights to and from Minsk. Therefore you will have to make transfer either in Riga of in Vilnius. In case you fly via Vilnius there is interlining on all of the routes. But if you head for Minsk via Riga, please remember, there is no interlining for flights from London, Amsterdam and Paris (you may fly via Riga to Minsk from Stockholm, Tallinn, Dublin, Berlin, Kaliningrad, Dubai, Helsinki). Belavia was officially founded on 5 March 1996, when the local Aeroflot division was nationalized and renamed and Belarusian government declared resolution "About the restructuring of air transport of the Republic Belarus". Being national airline of the Republic of Belarus, it takes the leading position in passenger air transportations on the Belarusian market. The state-owned company is the Belarusian flag carrier. Czech Airlines j.s.c. was founded on 6 October 1923, by the Czechoslovak government as CSA ?esko Slovensk? Aerolinie (Czecho-Slovak Airlines). Government holds 95,7 % of company’s shares. CSA faced great economic crisis in 2009 and the government tried to sale its share, though only one company won the tender and the deal was canceled. Nowadays the company is doing fine. Czech Airlines, as the flagship airline carrier of the Czech Republic, provides air connections from the Czech capital, Prague, to most European capitals and to major North American destinations and to Minsk of course. El Al Israel Airlines Ltd is the flag carrier of Israel founded on 15 November 1948. In 1949 El Al starts passenger transportations. Cannot but mention the fact that this company is acknowledged as one of the safest airlines in the world, probably because most, but not all, El Al's pilots are former pilots of the Israeli Air Force. One more thing you should remember about El Al – they do not have flights on Saturdays! Georgian Airlines was founded in September 1993 and under the name "Airzena". The air company primarily operated charter flights to China, Egypt and other countries. Scheduled services were added in 1997. Airzena merged with Air Georgia in November 1999 to form Airzena Georgian Airlines and adopted the current title on 1 October 2004. Lufthansa Airlines
Lufthansa Airlines a German flag carrier is the largest airline in Europe. It was formed in 1926 in Berlin and served as national airline until 1945 when all services were suspended following the defeat of Germany in World War II. However the company had its second birth on 6 January 1953. Then it was renamed as Deutsche Lufthansa Aktiengesellschaft and relaunched as an airline on 6 August 1954. It is important to note that the Lufthansa of 1953 is not the legal successor of the company founded in 1926. Anyway, these days the company has the second-largest passenger airline fleet in the world (but only with its subsidiaries as well) and it operates services to 18 domestic destinations and 203 international destinations in 78 countries across Africa, Americas, Asia and Europe.

Turkish Airlines, Inc. is the national flag carrier airline of Turkey, formed on 20 May 1933. Unfortunately, the airline was plagued by a several difficult issues. It developed a reputation for poor customer service and delays. It also endured hijackings and suffered seven accidents between 1974 and 1983. But the situation changed for better with the new government coming to power in 1983. Since then the company has been developing rapidly. Turkmenian Airlines
Turkmenistan Airlines is the flag carrier of the former Soviet republic of Turkmenistan, founded in 1992. The airline connects its home base of Ashgabat with destinations in Russia, Europe and Asia. All its international flights are operated by Western-trained pilots using two-class configuration Boeing aircraft. The company operates regular flight from Ashgabat to Minsk on Saturdays (departure at 15:00 and arrival at 17:00) and from Minsk to Ashgabat (departure at 11:30 and arrival at 15:00).
